There has been reports that students and teachers are getting blocked when going to kahoot.com and kahoo.it. Deleting cache and cookies and closing and reopening chrome has worked in the past. To delete cache and cookies in chrome press ctrl-shift-del then make sure all time is selected. You may have to go under the more menu to select all time. Make sure cookies and cached images and files checked. Then close and reopen chrome.

Software Programs No longer in CompliancePlanned Maintenance

Description

After Thanksgiving Break, these programs will be blocked: Class Dojo: Blocked for staff and students. Khan Academy, Padlet, ABC Mouse, and Echo360: The student sign up page will be blocked for students so they can not sign in or create an account. They will still be able to access portions of the site where an account is not needed. These platforms are being restricted because we were unable to secure a Data Privacy Agreement (DPA) with them. Some of them has one in place, but it is expiring or will be expiring and they are unwilling to renew. Under Utah Code §53E-9-3 and Board Rule R277-487, all third-party vendors that collect or process student data must have a signed DPA with the district to ensure compliance with state privacy standards.
